He was able to put the pieces back together and it looked like it never had been damaged. He repaired the tops of 2 end tables we use as night stands that had suffered water damage. They look like new. He was friendly and professional and his cost was reasonable! Highly recommend!

Comments: I attempted to “refinish” water marks on my dining table. After a very small section, I determined that I could not do this. I called Furniture Fixation, sent pictures and was told he could do the work. Mr. Holec did a beautiful job repairing and refinishing my 30 years old table, which now looks new. He is excellent, very personable, and follows through with whatever he states. I recommend him for any furniture project you have. You will be very pleased with the results.

Comments: Our oak pedestal dining table had been through several do-it-yourself refinishing jobs. When we bought it, it was covered in a yellow homemade “antiquing” kit finish. We stripped it and refinished it, then a number of years later did another refinish. Now we needed a pro, and we found Charles at Furniture Fixation. He was pleasant to work with, prompt, and exceeded our expectations. Our table looks like new, maybe better, and he left a few of the “historical” dings and markings that gave it character and reminded us of all the memories made at that table. I would not hesitate to hire him again if necessary!

Comments: A lot of companies can restore wood, but Charles can actually repair furniture. We have a sofa that our grandchildren jumped on when they were young so that the center section sagged. The springs inside all looked good, so it was hard to know how to repair it. Mr. Holec was able to fix it in our home. I am very happy with the result.

Comments: Charles returned my call in a timely fashion(within a couple of hours). We discussed the project and he arranged to come to my house the same day. A broken leg and some scratches, along with a new coat of shellac was needed. We agreed on what I considered a resaonable price. He took the piece with him, I paid him half to begin the work. We agreed he would return it in 10 days(to fit both our schedules), but called 3 days later he project finished. He matched the leg to be replaced exactly, removed the scratches, and redid the finish. I was very satisfied.

Comments: Charles called me within minutes of my email requesting service. He came out that same morning (a Saturday after Thanksgiving) and fixed my leather chair right in our home. It was sagging badly. He double reinforced the strapes (for they only had one row of strapes and he added another going the opposite way. Which I thought was a great idea and he added more foam to the chair seat and arm. He quoted me a price for the chair seat, however I added the arm when he got to our house. He only charged me a little more then the orginal quote. The price was excellant and his work too. I would recommend him if you need any work done on your furniture.

He had given me an initial estimate over the phone, but actually lowered his quote to do the work once he picked it up. He offered me a very reasonable time frame to repair the furniture. When I asked if it was possible to do it within a week he readily agreed; he then proceeded to do the repair and get it back to me in 5 days. The repair was flawless. Service, price, and quality of work exceeded my expectations. I will do business with him in the future.
