Repairing

The term “repair” as it relates to furniture can cover a very wide variety of issues, usually associated with some type of damage that a piece has sustained, or a defect that may be cosmetic and undesirable in nature. Examples might include a broken leg on a table or chair caused by a careless moving company or shipping/handling damage that occurred during transit from the manufacturer. Another type of damage that would require a repair, would be an area that had been chewed by the family pet. In addition, minor dents, scratches, and scuffs caused by normal everyday use in the home or rub marks, light edges, or crushed corners that are discovered after unpacking pieces in a retail furniture store setting.
